Job Title: Development Control Planner

Location: Camden

Hours: 36

Salary: £16.00 per hour

Contract: currently 3 months

For our London based client we are currently looking for an experienced Developement Control Planner to start asap.

The role involves:

working with the planning enforcement team
to manage a range of enforcement investigations, a full range of planning enforcement work including the production of reports, formal enforcement action and witness statements
to respond to customers through a range of channels (for example telephone and in writing) within specified timescales

Please apply if you:

have experience of working in a planning enforcement team and examples of work undertaken
have a recognised degree, Diploma or other Royal Town Planning Institute exemption qualification or similar non-recognised planning qualification subject to formal assessment
have experience in Development Control including dealing with complex planning applications and appeals
have knowledge of using Microsoft Excel & Word Wp
have good customer service skills
have local government experience
have thorough awareness of current planning issues and a working knowledge of relevant legislation
are eligible for membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute
