DevOps Engineer required for a high profile project for one of the most innovative fintech companies in the personal and business foreign exchange industry. This is an opportunity for a passionate and experienced DevOps Engineer to support an ever expanding team of 50 engineers (40 in London and a 10 person team up in the north of England) and be the infrastructure focal point as they build exciting new Foreign Exchange products.
The existing platforms have been growing organically alongside the business over the last ten years and are now being used by over 7000 customers globally and are in need of cutting edge changes. The DevOps Engineer will work with the engineering teams in a fun, fast-moving, hardworking and exceptionally supportive environment and gain experience in a profitable industry disrupter. They will also help bring a groundbreaking new product to market and replatform the core FX engine from an on-premise monolith to Node.js microservices and React applications mainly built on top of Lambda serverless and Fargate.
Please apply for the role if you are a DevOps Engineer with commercial experience with most of the technologies/tools/practices below (although they are just a starting point, you will be empowered to recommend changes):
Experience with core AWS services (EC2, RDS, CloudFront, ECS/Fargate, Lambda etc)
Experience with multiple account setups (AWS Organisations)
Deep knowledge of application, server and network security
Containerisation platforms (Docker)
CI tools, e.g. CircleCI, Jenkins, CodeBuild
Agile practices.
Software engineering practices like BDD, TDD, Pair Programming etc.
Learning from and passing knowledge to like-minded and talented colleagues.
It would be extra awesome if you have:

Terraform, Packer, Ansible
Knowledge of Node.js microservices.
GIT workflow.
Experience working in fintech.
