Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Pastry Chef to join a 2AA Rosette kitchen within a country house hotel in the heart of Gloucestershire. The hotel has two kitchens; one that produces a modern gastro style menu for the Bar and Lounge, the other serves their Restaurant which has been awarded 2AA Rosettes. Both kitchens are under the direction of a new Head Chef. The kitchens are run to his impeccable standards producing seasonal menus using fresh, quality ingredients. The main kitchen is also responsible for the catering of the many weddings that the venue is busy with all year round. Possible career progression for a hard working candidate within their small group of hotels.

The Role:

  • Preparation of ingredients for the pastry menu
  • Run and manage the pastry section
  • Report to Head Chef for daily duties
  • Assisting the team in producing food at Rosette level

The Candidate:

  • Previous experience at rosette level preferred
  • Must be competent and level headed
  • Willing to learn and progress skills
  • Understanding of food hygiene and safety

Salary £25,000 - £30,000 + £2K TIPS & Overtime
