Job Description

For our West London based client we are currently looking for a talented Junior Business Development Manager with a passion for business and sales and an ambitious nature to manage existing and to build new relationships.

The purpose of the Business Development Manager is to find new business opportunities through including but not limited to:

  • Business Development calls as required
  • Sales meetings with existing and prospective customers
  • Own creativity and initiative

Duties and responsibilities of the Business Development Manager are to:

  • Manage a portfolio of existing customers and ensure they receive regular sales calls in which the sales quantities and profit margins are maximised.
  • Look for new business – create and manage an account base.
  • Arrange, organise and attend sales meetings with customers as and when required.
  • Attend trade fairs as and when required.
  • Travel into Europe to meet suppliers and prospective customers.

  • Has some experience in Sales or Business Development.

  • Has very strong communication skills.
  • Has excellent phone manners and interpersonal skills. 
  • Enjoys meeting customers in the UK and in Europe as and when required.
