Occupational Health Nurse

Job Description

For our Liverpool based client we are currently looking for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to start asap.

The role involves to:

Conduct new-employee health assessments and general health assessments
Coordinate the health promotions calendar liaising with internal and external parties as necessary
Conduct a triage process for medical referrals as required
Compile and maintain a database of employees who require regular health surveillance and operate a recall system
Conduct health screening clinics on and off site
Provide advice and guidance to employees in relation to health and workplace problems
Liaise with GPs, Hospital Consultants etc.
Maintain appropriate records relating to all screening, surveillance and general health assessments and produce statistical reports as requested.

Please apply if you have:

HCPC Registration
Appropriate qualifications to work as an Occupational Health Nurse
Experience in working as an Occupational Health Nurse in a medium to big private sector organisation or preferably local government authority
An up to date knowledge of safe working practices as Occupational Health Nurse in line with health and safety legislation
Enhanced DBS (not older than 1 year)
