For our Wakefield based client we are currently looking for an experienced Office Manager to start asap.
The role involves:
To manage and provide leadership to the office support team.
To ensure a comprehensive, confidential, efficient office support and secretarial service is provided to the Service Director and Service Managers.
To ensure effective and diplomatic liaison and networking to be undertaken.
Performance management monitoring and analysis for the Service.
To provide day to day personal assistance to the Service Director.
Overall responsibility for providing, interpreting and monitoring accurate reports to the Service Director on the use of the Communities service revenue budget.
Make recommendations for expenditure adjustments in line with on-going budget limits.
Provide support and cover for the Corporate Director.

Proven experience in a similar role
experience within the Public Sector, preferably local government
Minute taking experience
The ability to maintain financial, statistical and administrative records
The ability to work within data protection legislation and confidentiality rules
This is a temporary position. The post is for an initial 3 months but likely to be extended for the right person. You will be required to work 37 hours from Monday to Friday between 8.30 and 17.00. The rate is negotiable for the right candidate.
