Job Description

For our London based client we are currently looking for an experienced Social Worker to join the Post Order team asap.

The role involves to:

Provide and/or commission adoption support services in relation to the adopted child, the adoptive family, the birth family, the adopted adult, Children on a special guardianship order and special guardians
Make applications to the Adoption Support Fund for therapeutic work for adoptive and special guardianship families, including those adopted from overseas.
Provide access to records to ex-care leavers over the age of 18
Maintain a contact service, direct (face-to-face) and indirect (letterbox)
Implement and to review financial support arrangements

Please apply if you have:

Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing or other appropriate professional qualification
DipSW - Diploma in Social Work
Health Professions Council (HPC) Registration
Recent enhanced DBS for children (not older than 1 year)

The client has signed into the Memorandum of Co-operation on Children's Agency Social Workers.
