Job Description

We are on the lookout for a hard working Sous Chef to join a small country house hotel in a market town in Gloucestershire. The hotel is part of a small group of 9 high end hotels that spread across the Cotswolds providing all guests with a luxury experience. The hotel has three restaurants; a stylish bar, a modern gastro style brasserie and a restaurant that has been awarded 2AA rosettes. You will be working closely alongside the new Head Chef to create exciting dishes using local, quality produce to a 2AA Rosette Standard.

The Role:

  • Deputising in the absence of the Head Chef
  • Responsible for assisting in ordering and maintaining stock levels
  • Maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment
  • Using fresh, quality ingredients to create 2AA Rosette standard food

The Candidate:

  • Previous experience at Sous level required
  • Ability to work well under pressure, whilst delivering the consistent quality
  • Have a passion for using fresh, local produce
  • Previous experience at Rosette level preferred
