Day to day duties of the Application Support Engineer:
  • Managing the Technical Support Rota
  • Planning team training
  • Oversee support communication in the event of business incidents
  • Planning and executing both Business Continuity Testing and Disaster Recovery Testing. Training will be provided for this if required.
The successful Application Support Engineer will have:
  • At least 2 years experience providing technical support on a business critical system, in a demanding environment
  • Executing and writing SQL queries
  • Knowledge of databases
Desirable skills for bonus points:
  • AWS services knowledge
  • Freshdesk experience (working with and configuring)
  • JIRA experience
