Virtual School Advisory Teacher

Job Description

For our Leytonstone based client we are currently looking for an Advisory Teacher to promote and support the educational achievement and maximisation of life chances of children.

The role involves:

• Working with schools, designated teachers, carers, officers and social care staff
• Guidance and support to colleagues, service users and partner agencies
• Maintaining case files, records and informations and preparing standard reports
• Organising and delivering services within a specialist area to meet established operational targets
• Monitoring and managing potential risk situations within the safeguarding of children

Please apply if you have:

• Qualified teacher satus
• Five years experience of teaching children especially with complex and special educational needs in a primary school or secondary school or equivalent
• Understanding of complex issues facing children in care
• Ability to deliver training programmes and events to other professionals
• Flexibility to work across age groups
• Willingness to travel
