Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Wedding & Events Coordinator to come in on a contract basis to cover maternity leave. They are part of a group of 9 luxury hotels and are busy with weddings & events all year round. This is a three star hotel with 46 bedrooms, offering an upmarket venue for weddings with guests of up to 90 at the reception. They also offer exclusive use for clients that wish to have full use of the hotel. You will be assisting in maximising sales and profitability of the hotel. This is a full time role starting immediately.

The Role:

  • Responding to wedding enquiries within agreed time frame
  • All reservations to be written up for hotel & clients
  • To maximise sales and profitability of the hotel
  • Liaising directly with potential clients on a daily basis managing enquiries & bookings

The Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and busy environment
  • To always greet all customers with enthusiasm & a smile
  • Ability to carry out & complete work within timeframes set
