For our London based client we are currently looking for an experienced Youth Offending Service Case Manager to start asap.
The role is for an initial 2 months but likely to be extended for the right candidate.

Current or very recent YOS experience
A General Social Care Council (GSCC) registered Social Work qualification or a relevant professional qualification recognised by any of the Youth Offending Service’s five partner agencies (police, probation, health, education or social services) as outlined in the Crime and Disorder Act 1998)
Experience of managing a caseload of both statutory and non-statutory cases (i.e. Referral Orders, YRO, DTO, OOCD), completing assessments, delivering innovative and creative interventions, writing reports and liaising with professional networks.
Experience of working with young people of diverse backgrounds and ability to also engage their families and carers
Experience of supporting young people to develop their personal and social skills to support their participation and contribution to their communities
Experience of using Asset Plus; writing Pre-Sentence Reports for Youth and Crown Courts, making assessments of risk of serious harm and safety and wellbeing
The ability to manage a high caseload and working to tight deadlines
Experience of working with a number of partner agencies including Courts, Police, Community providers, CAMHS, Connexions and using these networks to achieve positive outcomes for young people
Experience of attending and contributing to strategy, professionals and other network meeting, representing the YOS and the best interests of the young people
The availability to occasionally work outside normal 9-5 office hours to complete home visits or attend Referral Order Panel meetings
